Canada is renowned as a country with an enviable quality of life, an excellent public education system, and access to healthcare. However, regardless of your country, when you apply for a Canadian visa, you will be expected to pay an application fee and every other fee necessary to process your application. Most often, what you are expected to pay will depend on the type of visa you are applying for and your application mode.

A Canadian visa is a stamp on your passport that gives the holder permission to enter the country. It is more or less a clearance to travel to the country and legally be allowed to stay either temporarily or permanently.

Note that individuals from countries that do not have a visa exemption or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) agreement with Canada will be expected to obtain a visa to be granted entry into the country. According to reports, people from around 148 countries will definitely need a Canadian visa to visit, work, or immigrate to Canada.

If you are one of these applicants and you require a visa for Canada, you will be expected to apply for one. Depending on the type of visa you want, there are fees associated with processing and submitting your Canadian visa applications.
