Flight Centre seems to stress to employees the need to constantly "close a deal". They are quick to give a quote but unless you've checked prices yourself odds are you'll probably be paying more than you need to. But you'll get the pressure of lines like "on hold but not confirmed until paid, so do you want to proceed?" If you abort plan with them, expect a follow-up phone call or email explaining the priority the agent has given to your file and asking for a reason for not going with them, even though you've explained that you can get better flights for less online yourself and the same hotel room for 50 dollars less per night.
