Occidental Hotels & Resorts is adding a little bit of luxury to Cuba with the 506-room Royal Hideaway Ensenachos. Located on Cayo Ensenachos on Cuba's north coast, the resort is 80 minutes from Santa Clara's Abel Santa Maria international airport or a 45-minute flight from Havana. The five-star, adults-only hotel is divided into three distinct areas. There's the Royal Hide-away, which has 270 rooms, including 10 two-story suites that are located around a central courtyard that features a large pool and Jacuzzi. The Royal Spa area has 190 rooms - again with 10 two-story suites - and also located around a central courtyard. Guests staying here - with a minimum seven-day stay - will receive massage, facial, pedicure, manicure, and spa gift at no extra charge.
The Royal Villas area of the resort has 46 rooms in 23 garden villas - including 32 one-bedroom villas and 14 two-bedroom villas. Accommodations here include a Jacuzzi and terrace or balcony, and guests enjoy private check-in, use of a private golf cart and exclusive access to their own pool and gourmet restaurant - The Royal Club.
If you get hungry, the Royal Hideaway Ensenachos features six a la carte restaurants that include Azia, an Asian restaurant, Palazzo, the property's Italian restaurant and the Royal Club, which offers international gourmet dining. The resort has six bars, as well as three beach and pool bars and the Latin Spirit nightclub.
Get pampered at the La Priere Spa which offers guests access to a complete range of spa treatments (subject to an additional charge), a thermal pool, sauna, treatment rooms, gym and swim-up bar. All guests staying at the property have access to the Royal Spa, however, guests staying in the Royal Spa area of the resort receive complimentary treatments as part of their accommodation packages.
The property's all-inclusive features include breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, 24-hour room service, unlimited local and premium branded drinks, watersports (windsurfing, smorkelling and kayaking), land sports such as tennis, volleyball, table tennis, gym and bicycles, as well as daily entertainment. The resort also offers wedding and honeymoon packages.
